A Career Clinic at Which Course Expo 2011 assisted anyone intending to upskill and develop their career prospects with a part time course in September.

These are challenging times for everyone, whether they are looking to secure their job, change or switch career, or looking to re-enter the labour market after a long period of unemployment. Some tough decisions need to be made - what career best suits my personality and situation? how do I re-train as quickly, effectively and affordably as possible? These are just some of the key concerns that were assuaged by the experts manning the Which Course Expo Career Clinic.

The Clinic took place from 2-4pm on each of the two days of the expo (Saturday, August 27th & Sunday, August 28th), and featured six qualified career coaches dispensing expert career advice for free.

Jane Downes was one such careers expert who will be speaking one-on-one to attendees at Which Course Expo 2011. Jane is one of Ireland's best known career coaches. She established Clearview Coaching Group (www.clearviewcoachgroup.com) in 2004, is author of The Career Book– Help for the Restless Realist, writes regularly for the national press (including a current position as weekly career doctor with the Metro Herald), is regularly invited to speak on national radio, and in 2010 Jane held the position of weekly career expert on TV3’s The Morning Show.
